About Jayne Hilburn-Mendoza

I’m Jayne, a passionate and experienced BROKER/REALTOR, #realestatebroker, and owner of the Jayne Mendoza Real Estate Group, based in the Cedar Hill/Lake Ridge Area.

 

I have lived in the #DallasMetroplex for over 35 years, and have been in the real estate business for over 30 years. I am a #funloving, quirky mom with one son who went to school in Carrollton, married, and is a mortgage broker. I am married to my best friend, Anthony, we have a blended family of three boys and a girl with 8 grandchildren.

 

I love to travel, dance, and laugh, and am passionate about my business; even more so about the families I serve.. Prior to launching my real estate career in 2014, I worked as a mortgage broker, so I am well-rounded in all facets of the real estate industry. I know the title business well, and am experienced and knowledgeable in every aspect of the buying or selling process. The skills and expertise I acquired as a mortgage broker have enabled me to create seamless transactions for my clients today.

 

Having lived in Dallas for so long, I am very passionate about being active in my community. I have been President of the Southwest Dallas County Women's Council of Realtors two separate years, and have a wealth of knowledge within the industry. Through the Women’s Council, I have been able to earn my PMN, and been given the opportunity to create avenues for other realtors and vendors to grow their businesses. I'm a TREPAC Trustee for Region 12 and Major Investor for #TREPAC, and I was on the Board of Garland/Plano National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.

 

Because I was raised in a house all of my life, moving into an apartment as a divorced/single mom with a 2-year-old was difficult. My son was accustomed to playing out in the backyard in west Texas, and, unfortunately, we did not have the luxury living in an apartment. Now, as a former single mom, my goal is to educate and assist #singlemoms with getting into the home they and their children deserve. I’m so grateful to have been able to do so for many moms and families. Helping people and knowing that I can make a difference are really what drives me. Nothing brings me more joy than being able to turn a client’s non-belief into excitement when they get the keys to their home.
